Kismet easily accommodates wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 60 persons, and can accommodate more when required, at an additional fee. Weddings at Kismet require a one-week full house booking. You may have up to twelve members of your wedding party enjoy the beauty and comfort of Kismet.

Kismet is one of the prime places chosen for weddings on St. John because of the site, the views, the sunset, the ambience of the villa itself, and the capacity of persons it can accommodate for receptions. Notwithstanding, Kismet is in a residential neighborhood and an effort must be made to reduce noise and other discomfort for Kismet’s neighbors. Therefore, Kismet will allow evening wedding receptions only once per month, although brunch weddings may be more frequent.

In addition, the following Rules and Regulations apply:
1. In an effort to reduce noise and discomfort for the neighbors and to reduce wear and tear to the villa, Kismet will accommodate only 60 persons or less.
2. If a band is hired for the wedding reception or other receptions, the band must have only acoustic instruments. Electronic instruments, outdoor speakers and amplifiers are prohibited.
3. The band and all other outdoor music must end by 9 PM.4. Kismet kindly requests also that efforts be made to reduce other very loud noise after 9 PM.5. All traffic coming and going from Kismet should make an extra effort not to disturb neighbors. No cars or taxis should park in, nor turn in, any neighbor’s driveway.There is a facility use fee of $3,000 for all planned reception events. There is a $5,000 charge for unplanned, unannounced or last minute events of more than 20 persons.Kismet hopes your wedding or other reception is both wonderful and memorable and thanks you for your understanding.
